Introducing Lörrach's districts

Beside the neighbourhoods of Tumringen, Tüllingen and Stetten, which have long been incorporated, the districts of Haagen (since 1974), Brombach and Hauingen (both since 1975) are also part of Lörrach. Since their incorporation, the district constitution, with district council, district mayor and district administration, has applied in these three districts. The district councils are voted in directly by the citizens for a period of five years. They voice their opinion on important matters affecting the districts.
Brombach, Haagen and Hauingen have maintained their village character and nurture their traditions and attractions. Rötteln Castle, with its Café & Biergarten Fräulein Burg, is a touristic and culinary magnet in Haagen. The Buurefasnacht in Hauingen and the "Holzsteigerig" are famous beyond the borders. Visitors to Brombach can admire the artwork of the renowned sculptor Rudolf Scheurer and a Roman estate.
The neighbourhoods of Tumringen, Tüllingen and Stetten, which have been incorporated for a long time, do not have their own administration.
