Fountains, effigies and more

Lörrach’s centre is best explored on foot. A sculpture trail featuring works by Bernd Goehring, Ulrich Rückriem, Stephan Balkenhol, Franz Bernhardt, Bruce Nauman and Beatrix Sassen runs through the city centre.
Original artwork in the shape of fountains and edifices decorate and bring life to the streets and squares in the pedestrian zone, opened in 1991 following a large-scale renovation of the city. Whether representational or abstract, or humorous, warning or mystical, they give the area a distinctive flair.
